Hello! I’m Dennis,
a CTCSOL-certified Mandarin instructor. For many years, I’ve been teaching Mandarin
Chinese cross various platforms and organizations and at a renowned University in China alongside a cohort of
expert Chinese language educators, where I honed my pedagogical skills and
built extensive experience teaching adult learners. Moreover, I’ve taught at a
U.S. online language school and at a European international school, which gave
me deep insight into challenges that Western students face when learning
Chinese and also helped me accumulate valuable experience teaching teens. My
experience as a management consultant and commercial government officer makes
me competent at teaching business Chinese and gives me insight into the Chinese
market and business norms. Passing the CFA Level 1 equipped me with sufficient
knowledge of finance and economics.
