My teaching style is relaxed and I like to allow the student to tell me which type of lesson he/she would like for a time, then when I get to know you better and see what areas you need help in I will make lessons focused on that until you feel comfortable with that skill. Also, students are welcome to tell me which area they would like to focus on, Grammar, Vocabulary, Conversation, Idioms, or something else.

The tutor is very pleasant. She speaks clearly and sends synonyms for unknown words during the lesson. The first lesson was great, and I’m looking forward to the next one! :)

I was initially worried about taking English classes with a native speaker, but Alissa made me feel comfortable about my level of English from the very start. She’s patient and supportive, which helps me relax and focus on learning. In every class, I learn new words, and she always sends me a list of the new vocabulary we discussed, which makes it easier to remember. I highly recommend Alissa.
