Worked as an expat for for 10+ years with a background in Corporate Communication, CSR and Sustainability. I was stationed in Chile, South Africa, South East Asia and Australia. I called Melbourne home for the past nine years, before i traded my expat life for a nomadic life. I wanted more time to enjoy the small things in life so I joined a community called Unsettled, which whom i get to travel one month at the time to some great places like Buenos Aires, Medellin, Bali, Marrakesh. I have traded my corporate career for a rewarding remote/nomadic life, creating more time for the things i am passionate about like writing, coaching and teaching. In pursuit of this newly chosen path I've had time to obtain my Tesol certification to teach English. I spend eight months in the Dutch Antilles teaching English at a Private College.  I've also pursued my other passion which is sports and nutrition and started the Life Balance Foundation, coaching people how to develop a healthy lifestyle. I'm a certified Vitality coach and teach people about work-life-balance.

In whatever shape or form, teaching is what i am passionate about and I hope I can not only teach you language skills but also inspire your life's journey.

I'm bi-lingual (Dutch and English), and I learn Spanish as well since i'm not yet done exploring the hinterlands of Latin America.

Look forward to having you in my 'classroom'.

I adopt a very practical approach to learning. The structure of the lessons includes a combination of theory and practical assessments.  We will work together for one full hour and because you'll have immediate access to me, you'll be able to ask questions as you work through your assessments.

Since i'll be teaching two languages, Dutch and English, we will be talking only selected language (so either Dutch or English) throughout the lesson so you can practice speech, conversation skills and pronunciation.
