My name is Maria. I have been teaching languages for more than 10 years. I worked as an offline teacher but now I prefer teaching online using Skype. 

I teach English and Russian as a foreign language (Russian is my native language).  I teach English and Russian to teenagers and adults. 

I always try to follow my student's needs and interests and create individual lesson plans to motivate my learners. I try to create positive and friendly atmosphere, use authentic resources to help students start speaking in a natural way. I provide my students with necessary materials (coursebooks, workbooks, articles, useful resources and links).

I always start my lessons with a short conversation  which helps my students concentrate on the lesson, use a video or a text as a base for discussion and language work, trying to use all its resources to improve vocabulary and grammar skills. I always have a plan of my lesson, but I am also ready to change it if I see that it doesn't follow my students' needs. 

My main aim is to teach people speak a foreign language, to help them communicate successfully, whether they are tourists or going  on a business trip, try to learn one more foreign language or read Russian or English literature in original.
